Read about 10 Fido Lifestyle Types
|Size:||X Large ( 80+ lbs )|
|Age:||Adult Prime – 4 years|
Seasonal allergies, small bumps a couple times a year. Food allergies, but we’ve narrowed it down to single protein duck formulas working very well.
|Vaccinations:||Yes, within the last year|
|Reason for Rehoming:||
We live in smaller home and space is a bit cramped, so tensions build a bit along with not being able to get him out as much with our 9 month baby girl addition to the home. He’s an active dog that needs a strong consistent bond with his owner and daily exercise.
|Preferences for New Home:||
Larger enclosed house/yard/property, no cats, no puppies (however, he does well with some), no other anxious or previously abused dogs, he tends to get excited and over stimulated with these types.
|Fido Lifestyle:||Activity Buddy, Dog Park Dog, Guardian, Protector Dog|
Gus is affectionate and eager to please. We are first owners since 8 weeks old. He needs more space and an active pack leader with strong boundaries. Having a new baby in the house has made it difficult to provide what he consistently needs.
He has had basic/intermediate training, listens very well, and minds his leader.
Gus doesn’t do well with:
|Personality:||Protective, Personality!, Excitable|
|Activity Level:||Medium energy. Always ready for play, but can also just hang. Recommend daily walks.|
|Training Level:||Intermediate (ex. “Wait”, “Heel”, “Leave It”)|
