|Reason for Rehoming:||
She and her sister started fighting. Keeping them constantly separated was not fair to either dog.
|Preferences for New Home:||
Where she is the only dog and preferably the only pet. Where someone is home a large part of the day. With people who have been dog owners before and even better if they are familiar with Corgi’s.
Sammy is a sweet, beautiful 12 year old girl. She lived with her biological sister without problems, for 7 years, even through the birth of three small children. Recently she and her sister began growling, then fighting–nipping each other with no blood drawn. She has never bitten a person. It grew to the point the dogs had to be separated. Feeling this was unfair, we chose Sammy to rehome because she has no health problems and a very loving disposition. She is energetic for her age and can jump baby gates and get on the couch with no problems. So that Sammy adapts successfully to her new family and they to her, we have some criteria. She must be the only dog in the home and preferably the only pet. Someone needs to be home with her a large part of the day. She does like and need lots of attention and love. We would prefer a previous dog owner, even better if you had a Corgi.
